Heading into Winter at La Belle Vilaine

We have enjoyed another successful season in 2021 ( all things considered). Many of our gites clients took up the option for some ‘one to one’ training with their dog’s, others chose to join us for a ‘group walkies’ with our dogs in the beautiful surrounding countryside that we enjoy here at La Belle Vilaine (both of these being completely optional).

The end of the season allowed Elaine, myself and our 3 dogs, Haiyla, Cass & Izzy to take a well earned break away in our elderly motorhome, affectionately named ‘The Jalopy’. Actually that should be ‘aptly named’ as we have spent a couple of afternoons in a motorhome repair centre…..🙄.

Not just a holiday though, as during the year some of Elaine’s ‘online clients’ who joined The Hoopers courses, asked if she would be able to incorporate some ‘Hoopers Workshops’ into our trip at their dog clubs!

We had planned heading towards The Alps region, but one of the workshop requests was in a place called St Faust, (Pau) which is near to The Haute Pyrenees . The second one was on the outskirts of Lyon. So we had to re-plan our route accordingly.

Both of these workshops were very well received, and both clubs have asked Elaine to return next year to do another workshop for them. Also we have received some extremely high praise in the form of reviews on Elaine’s Facebook group, Hoopers Canine Hoopers World France .

We are now meandering our way up to a place called La Flèche, near to the city of Angers for Elaine’s final workshop of the trip which will be this coming weekend.

Elaine is also preparing for a weekend’s workshop at La Belle Vilaine in December. This is selling well, and both gites have been booked by clients attending the workshop.

With it being December we have hired a 12m x 6m marquis, so that, in the case of bad weather, we shall have enough ‘indoor space’ in which to carry on with the exercises.

We are currently taking bookings for 2022 (with or without training options) our new website (which went live earlier this year) has the option to check your preferred holiday dates for availability and to reserve online. Once you reserve we will contact you to guide you through our booking process.

Thank you

Elaine and Paul.
