This long, sandy beach is flanked by the beautiful, golden cliffs which gave it its name "The Gold Mine". There are 2 large, free car parks and toilets. There are restaurants within walking distance. There is also a clearly-signed cliff-top walk, offering stunning of the coast.
This is also a popular spot for hang-gliding.

This world-famous, french, beach resort boasts 9 km of beaches. The town itself offers a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants.
For the sporting types nearby Le Pouligen offers 9 km of purpose-built roller-skating pathways along the coast. In all, this area of the Loire Atlantique offers 17 different way-marked routes (from 7 to 20 km) for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders.
