We also welcomed back our old friends Jake and Kizzy with their owners (and now our good friends) Paula and Stewart. Their first visit was back in 2007 and this was visit number 7 ! Thanks to you both (and Jake and Kizzy) for coming along to lend your support to our stand at Paws in the Park in Kent.
To see their holiday snaps visit La Belle Vilaine Gites Facebook page.

Although we have holidayed in France for many years this is our first experience of a gite ... we were sorry to leave to go onto a hotel and wished we could have stayed here for the whole 2 weeks.

How wonderful to come to a place where dogs are so welcomed. We have all had a great holiday - the dogs have lost weight with all that exercise, but we have put some on due to all the lovely food! We owe great thanks to Paul and Elaine who made their experience so freely available. Thanks to you we have seen so much and enjoyed exactly the holiday we all love. Lots to see and do, but most of all we appreciated the walks around the gites and the wildlife. A week really wasn't enough and we hope that you will have us back!

Where to begin? Upon arrival we were greeted by huge smiles, a friendly chat and warmth from you both, as you showed us around the gite (our beautiful home for 3 wonderful weeks). As you left us to settle in we commented on how lovely you both were, the cleanliness of the gite and the idyllic surroundings. That was just the start of what proved to be our best holiday EVER!
Elaine fed us with knowledge and made the learning process fun for everyone - both 2-legged and 4-legged!
Here's to many more visits and many years of friendship. Keep up the good work - a wonderful holiday experience.

A comfortable base in a charming spot. To be able to moth trap whilst on holiday was a real treat! We were thrilled to see new species we don't get at home. We also saw Black Woodpecker and Bluethroat - the "icing on the cake"! We were wowed by the diversity of the wildlife. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and understanding that not everyone in our party was keen on dogs!

A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week. We liked the spacious feel to the gite and your advice and information were invaluable. Gussie enjoyed the walks and playing on the dog-friendly beaches and received a warm welcome in the many restaurants we visited.

A big thank you to both of you for such a great holiday at La Belle Vilaine. The setting is stunning, the gite spacious, the quiet you get here is lovely & you clearly have a tight nit community. Your dogs are lovely - Alex is only one year old but he loved watching them. We hope to back soon.

Having seen and enjoyed most areas of Brittany we wondered how this would compare. It's been great! All the little villages look so clean & well kept. There is so much to see & do. Being able to bring our 'Patterjack', (Patterdale Terrier x Jack Russell) Molly is really important. She has benefitted from Elaine's advice on how to handle her - as have we!
Hope to return again soon - a week is too short a stay.
Thanks again to Elaine & Paul.

A very warm & friendly welcome by Elaine & Paul. We made the most of our week visiting Vannes, Guerande, La Roche Bernard & many more. The gite is a homely base from which to explore the region. With the help & advice from Elaine & Paul we have had a lovely stay & hope to return in the future.

We have all had a wonderful week. Elaine, Paul, Ficelle, Gracie & Haiyla made us all feel very welcome & that we were not intruding on their property. Their knowledge of the area was very welcome making our stay very easy.
Elaine & Cheryl, with Gracie & Daisy did a great 'doggy-dance' demo' & were very kind to let us use their agility equipment with our dogs.
Overall a very relaxing, 'easy' week which was thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks for letting us stay in your very pretty & comfortable gite. It's lovely to find a gite with comfortable beds & furniture. The area is very nice & the gite is ideally placed for touring, with many lovely towns & parks within a short drive. It's a pleasure to be able to bring our dog (Ben) with us. There are many gites that will not allow dogs, this was a real bonus for us. You made us feel very welcome & we hope to come again.
Many thanks, Chris, Brian & Ben

The thing I like about France & this gite in particular is the solitude. No motorway noise, just quiet.Thankyou so much for the use of the agility course with Spike. I will keep in touch & update you as Spike makes makes progress.
Best wishes, Jan, nigel, Emma & Spike.
