The 2011 season is coming to a close. This year has been our best so far also 40% of bookings were from returning visitors! So far we have an unprecedented number of early bookings for 2012 (over 27 weeks and counting) of which 49% are return bookings. The majority of our guests return at least once, many have returned 2-3 times and even more ..... that is the best recommendation we could receive. Thanks to all our regulars. xxxxx We look forward to seeing you all again soon and to meeting all of you who will be coming for the first time in 2012.
We now also have a facility via Facebook for our guests to comment.

A great week has sadly come to an end. Amazingly hot! Daisy enjoyed her 2 training sessions and has made great progress. P and E have been very helpful hosts from our first enquiry to leaving. The gite has been a lovely home for the week - bed very comfy! The dogs enjoyed their walks and swims down by the river and at the lake 'Kernevy'. Thank you again for the hospitality, welcome gifts arranging the lovely vet and we look forward to our next visit!
Matt, Cathy and our 2 Golden Retrievers, Honey and Daisy.

First and foremost a huge thank you to P and E for allowing us to alter our dates due to Pepper needing an emergency operation. You will never know how much your kindness meant to us during this stressful time! We have fallen in love with Brittany. tho' in one week we have barely scratched the surface. Vannes Market is Fab' , La Turballe for 'Moules Frites', Guerande, Le Croisic, the beach at Le Rat. Creperie de la Roche 'oh so good'! The gites are perfect, everything 'spot on'. We really don't want to leave, but as the saying goes 'you have to leave to come back' and that we will!
Sue, Vicky and Pepper
...and they are doing for 10 days in May 2012!

We have had the most relaxing and enjoyable 2 weeks here in E and P's lovely gite. So much to see around local and wider areas. The gite is perfect. It had everything we needed (and more). It was both clean and very comfortable. really enjoyed the peacefulness and tranquility of the area. I don't think we've ever felt so relaxed after a holiday. Elaine and Paul are two of the most genuine people we've ever met. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome for all your friendly advice. A huge thanks to Elaine for all the time spent working with Murphy. We saw the changes within a day! Elaine gave us great advice with 'clicker training'. We have never seen Murphy happier than when racing down to the agility equipment or to the Flyball area. So many lovely towns and villages, beautiful coastlines. We are off home now to book again for next year!
Clan Pam, Scott and Murphy.
True to their word, Pam Scott and Murphy have booked another 2 weeks in 2012. They are also taking advantage of our

Another wonderful fortnight with, now very good friends, Paul, Elaine, Gracie, Ficelle and Haiyla! Had our first go at Flyball. Prince took it in his usual laid back style. We collected our new dog, Poppy who we have rescued from the SPA here in France. Poppy is deaf. Elaines help with training has been invaluable. Poppy gets to stay on till October when we shall return to collect her.
Simon, Jeanette, Rebecca, Prince and Poppy.
Simon and Jeanette now have Poppy at home and have booked another 2 weeks in 2012, which will be their 6th stay!

We have thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of your gite and surrounding countryside. We all had a great time strolling around the country lanes and pic-nicing by the river. Sight seeing became more of an after thought. Thanks E and P for your kindness and hospitality. The training was very much appreciated and arranging the vet visit was extremely helpful.
Eileen, Clinton and Ruby.

We have had an enjoyable time in this lovely house in beautiful peaceful countryside. Thanks for your warm welcome E and P. We really enjoyed the medieval towns - La Roche Bernard, Guerande, Vannes and Rochefort en Terre. We loved the food and wine of the area and it was great to be able to take Wellington into the restaurants. Thank you for the training advice Elaine. Hope to return in a couple of years.
Jan, Roger and Wellington.
PS: Saw a Hoopooe in the garden!
Note: It appears Jan, Roger and Wellington could not wait 'a couple of years' as they have already booked 2 weeks for 2012!

Thanks Elaine and Paul for a lovely couple of weeks. La Roche is a lovely town full of friendly people. Saw a wild boar one evening on our way back from a restaurant! Piriac-sur-Mer is really pretty. Very BIG thanks to Elaine for taking time to help us train Trouble, we are already seeing the benifits and will deff' carry on at home. This is our first visit to France and we will certainly return.
Best Wishes, Pete, Ann and Trouble.

Our 3rd visit to this delightful gite - it's now almost "home from home ". Molly loves walking with Elaine and the 3 girls. Paul and Elaine have, as ever, been the perfect hosts - Elaine is full of good advice regarding Molly and Paul, the practical one, even made her a ramp so she can get into and out of the car herself! Providing Molly can cope with the journey, we will be back!
Jan, Sue and Molly
*Note by Elaine - Molly (a gorgeous little Patterdale) had suddenly become distressed (panting - although it wasn't too hot) on the journey down through France and during the following couple of days was reticent to get into the car or even go near it. (They had travelled via the tunnel, so she had not been left and try as we might we couldn't put our finger on a reason for this sudden change .... she is 4).
So I introduced Sue and Jan to a method for desensitising phobias and asked Paul to make the ramp (so she could "own" the act of getting into their very high car and it became a game - her own little agility obstacle! i.e. it was her decision to get into the car). I also suggested a safe chew toy for her to have only in the cage in the car. With these things in place Molly had begun to get over this problem before the end of the holiday..
Sue and Jan emailed us once home in the UK .... Molly had been fine on the journey and they are already planning the next visit!

Brilliant. What can we say that others haven't. Loved the gite, the setting and absolutely lovely hosts. Elaine & Paul could not have been more helpful, especially with Heidi our Cocker Spaniel. Elaine arranged the vet for us - great as this is our first time with a dog and we were unsure of the procedure. Do watch the agility - Elaine is superb!
So many interesting places around here, and our weather has been great 18-20 Degs most days.
Do hope to pay another visit next year. Thanks to Elaine, Paul & 'the girls'.

Mum and Dad brought me to La Belle Vilaine,
I don't think I will ever be quite the same!
Lots of running and jumping and lying in the sun
Learning new games
Oh I've had such fun!
We sailed on a boat; there was so much to see!
Dad had to row, but Mum stayed with me!
I went to restaurants, to shops and bars too,
Here it is different as we stay with you!
On our last day Dad said A Green Lizard, at last!
I tried to catch it, but it was too fast!
Our holiday is over and we are all sad to leave,
Mum says We'll be back! and I say Yes, please!
Goodbye all my friends and thank you so much,
I will be on Facebook, so please keep in touch!
