This was The Music Festival held at Questembert (South Brittany) - one of the many 'market towns' in this area. This band played in a jazz style with a comic theme.

This was, we think a Breton choir - seemed to be a mix of sea shanty coupled with folk style! Of course it was all in the old Breton language - so I could be way of the mark!

This band was a bit more 'rocky' as you can see the guitarist seems to be 'going for it' The light was beginning to fade at this point and we have not got to grips fully with our new camera hence the blur!
This shows the 'inside' of the old Market hall at Questembert. This band had just finished to make way for the choir as we arrived.

There were plenty of other bands to see. Of note (or not as the case may be) we saw a 70's style Punk Rock band of which I managed at least 2 minutes. I have to say that entertainment wise they were good, as in their 'stage antics' it was just the music that let them down!
Contrary to popular belief, Elvis is alive, well & rocking in Questembert! When we walked up to the fest, he was belting out 'That's all right mama' along with a guitarist, double bass & a drummer. I went back a little later to get 'THE' photo but it appeared that Elvis had left the building........................ I have to say that if he has chosen the Morbihan region of South Brittany in which to live then he has made a good choice.
