This Volvo 240 Torslanda was my first Volvo car. On purchase it had full Volvo service history and I kept it for 4 years by which time it had covered approx 135K .Which meant 53K of trouble free Volvo driving! |
Having fallen for the Volvo car marque via the Torslanda, we had to become a two Volvo family so we purchased a Volvo 340 GL car which Elaine, (my better half) adored. |

When the Volvo Torslanda left us we replaced it with this stunning Volvo 850 T5 estate car. |
The Volvo 850 T5 Estate car again. Both photos of the Volvo 850 T5 were taken in The New Forest. This one had 63K miles on purchase & 103K on sale, so gave 40K of trouble free Volvo driving! |

When the Volvo 340 became an 'ill car' (the carb needed replacing) I sold it to a chap who wanted the GLT Alloys. I replaced it with this (older) Volvo 240 GLT car.Yes I am mad!
This photo was taken at Portchester Castle.

Another shot of my Volvo 240 GLT saloon car (1982 vintage) The body work was not actually as good as it looks here but mechanically it was 'spot on'. As far as I know it is still putting on the miles in classic Volvo style. |

A shot of my Volvo 480 turbo automatic car prior to 'export'. Still have this one & after 40K of Volvo 480 driving it has made me work to keep it running satisfactorily! That said, with in excess of 140K on the clock and being 17 years old I suppose I should expect a few 'niggles' along the way!
